Voice of Truth

As most people probably have heard, the world was supposed to end last Saturday. Well, I of course did not believe that it was going to happen because the Bible says the no one will know the day or hour by which the Son of God will return. As well as,there will be false accusations that will try to get you to believe in their philosophy. What touched me was how many people flipped out about Jesus coming back only because some man thought and said Jesus was. Faith is putting your hope and beliefs in something that you can’t see, yet once information about something is suddenly given at hand, people take it directly as the truth. Students at school last week kept coming up and asking me, “Do you think we will all die???” I took this as an opportunity to share my faith with them all, and maybe I spoke some truth to them that they needed to hear and maybe I didn’t. However, God was forever present during those conversations and through me, I am certain those students heard God’s voice. This event last Saturday scared so many people and they were worried about being saved and whether they were going to have eternity in Heaven or hell, but in reality, Jesus’ return could happen at any time! He could come in 50 years, 1 week, or even in 2 minutes. What people don’t understand is that, we will never know when that moment will come. Therefore, we must live ready NOW!!!! There is no time to live day by day just going by life without any thought, patience, or love. We must live every moment as if it were our last. I was deeply changed by this event not because I am living to the fullest more, but because I could share my faith and walk with Christ, with others that were just out to seek the Voice of Truth…are you listening?
