The Drive

I know that this picture doesn’t show it properly, but on my drive back to campus today, the trees had this very light covering of snow. It was so beautiful.

What else is there to do on such a long drive? -nothing but to take in the wonderful scenery. So captivating.

The day itself was sort of gloomy out, and yet I was reminded that the little things (something as small as noticing a light snow covering) can resemble God’s sense of creativity and peace. There have been many things that have gotten me down lately, but the white glistening crystals on the trees just brought peace to my heart. I’m not sure why… but I’m thankful for the reminder that God cares about the little things.

Tis the season to be made white as snow.
